Orders within Cairo and Giza are typically delivered in 1–2 business days. For other governorates across Egypt, delivery may take up to 5 business days. All shipments are handled by FedEx for reliable, trackable delivery.
Yes — we offer same-day express delivery for select areas within Greater Cairo (Cairo and Giza). This service requires upfront payment; Cash on Delivery is not available on express orders.

Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders totalling EGP 2,999 or more. For orders below this amount, shipping fees are calculated based on your delivery location and displayed at checkout.
We ship all orders via FedEx. You can track your shipment using the tracking link provided in your confirmation email. For any delivery inquiries, you can also call the FedEx hotline at 19985.
Orders are typically processed within minutes to a few hours during business hours. Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number and tracking details.
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging with all tags and accessories intact. Certain hygiene items such as socks, wristbands, and caps cannot be returned once opened.

Once your returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7–14 working days depending on your bank or payment provider. You may also choose to receive a store credit voucher for the full amount, which is issued immediately.
If the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we cover all return shipping costs. For returns due to personal reasons such as change of mind or ordering the wrong size, the return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility.
Every racket sold by La Tienda Egypt comes with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects such as frame cracks, delamination of the carbon layers, and structural failures that occur during normal play.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse (hitting walls or fences with excessive force), normal wear and tear (paint chips, sweat stains, scratches), accidents, water damage, or unauthorized repairs and modifications.
To start a warranty claim, contact us within the 6-month warranty window via support@latiendaegypt.com or WhatsApp with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damage from multiple angles
- A short description of how the damage occurred
We will assess the claim within 2–3 business days. If the claim is approved, we will arrange a free pickup, inspect the racket, and provide a replacement or repair at our discretion. If you would prefer, we can also offer the value of the warranty as store credit toward a different racket.

To start playing padel, you'll need three essentials:
- A racket — for beginners, look for a round-shape racket (more forgiving with a larger sweet spot). Browse our Beginner collection.
- Padel balls — pressurized padel balls (not tennis balls). A 3-ball can goes a long way.
- Court shoes — flat-soled court shoes with herringbone tread for grip on the artificial turf.
Optional but recommended: a padded bag, an overgrip, and a wristband. Our starter bundles include everything you need at a discounted bundle price.
Padel rackets are very different from tennis rackets:
- No strings — padel rackets are solid, made from carbon fiber and EVA foam
- Smaller and shorter — typically around 38mm thick and 45cm long, designed for control in tight spaces
- Drilled face — small holes across the surface aid spin and aerodynamics
- Lighter — typically 350–390g vs 280–330g for tennis
You cannot use a tennis racket in padel — they're not designed for it and will not perform.
Children as young as 5 or 6 years old can start padel with a junior-sized racket. The key is matching racket size and weight to the child's height and strength — using an adult racket too early can cause poor technique and even wrist injury.

To keep your racket performing at its best:
- Wipe the surface and grommets with a slightly damp cloth after each session — never submerge or use harsh cleaners
- Keep the racket away from extreme heat (do not leave it in a parked car in summer) — high temperatures damage the carbon and EVA core
- Use a head protector tape to absorb impacts during play — it dramatically extends frame life
- Replace your overgrip when it loses tackiness or starts to fray (typically every 4–8 sessions for regular players)
- Store your racket in a thermal cover or padded bag when not in use
Most regular players replace their overgrip every 4–8 sessions, or when it loses its tacky feel. If you sweat heavily or play in humid conditions, you may want to change it more often. A fresh overgrip prevents the racket from slipping and reduces strain on your wrist and elbow.
